Videomass is a cross-platform GUI designed for FFmpegenthusiasts who need to manage custom profiles to automate transcodingprocesses.

Ffmpeg Gui For Mac

It is based on an advanced use of presets and profiles in order to use most ofthe FFmpeg commands without limits of formats andcodecs.

It features graphical tools for viewing, analyzing and processing multimediastreams and downloading videos via youtube-dl.

Videomass is written in Python3 with the wxPython-Phoenix toolkit.

Requirements

• ffprobe (usually bundled with ffmpeg)
• ffplay (usually bundled with ffmpeg)

Optionals

Install basic dependencies for your OS

Install Videomass using pip

python3 -m pip install videomass

This should also automatically install the remaining required dependenciessuch as wxPython (only for Mac-Os and Windows), PyPubSub and youtube-dl.

On Linux and FreeBSD a launcher should be even created in the applicationlauncher of your desktop environment.

To start Videomass on Mac-Os and MS-Windows open a console and typevideomass command.

python3 launcher
